People assume, that's fine, there are other options.
1)Adoption - babies or older kids from foster care
Not everybody wants to have children when they are in their 20's. For most people, in their 40's is the best, they are financially stable, have grown up and are more responsible.
Here's the flipside:
You have these options but there is no guarantee your journey will be what you envisioned in your head. Most of the time, it's the exact opposite or nightmare.
For example, people assume fertility treatments are guaranteed, it's not and it's really really expensive. $50k each time, what if you try 10 times with Zero results? That's a whole lotta money down the drain, money you could have used for other stuff. That's $500k, are you that rich where you can afford to take these risks? If you are, great. If you can afford to throw away $500k you obviously have millions of dollars in the bank.
Most people aren't and don't.
So procreation is cut for mankind. I prefer to be positive, I'll have kids next life when I retire with my soulmate.
